I have a 1999 5.0 Merc with an alpha 1 gen 11 drive. How often do you recommend chnaging the spark plugs and wires? It starts great, runs without a miss, etc.
It depends on amount of use. Usually 3-5yrs on the wires, and I like plug changes yearly;not so much because they wear, but the steel shell can rust pretty quickly in salt air. 'nutcase
