spec's for rochester 2 bl

I have a 2 bl carb. on 4.3 book as spec's for a 17083110 2 bl but my carb. is a 17085008 2 bl . I need to know float drop and float level cannot find spec's for the 17085008 any where. This is a factory carb that came with the boat 86 candia 4.3. Thanks for any replies...

The 17085008 doesn't show up until 1987 but the specks on it are exactly the same as the 17083110.

Thanks but if I set the drop 1-3/4 the back of the float will hit the bottom of the bowl so not sure if it is right could be thou, The level seems to be right 17/32. I am dipping in carb. cleaner now (Berrymans) nasty stuff but cleans it great Thanks for the reply.

As long as your measuring from the gasket surface on the air horn to the lowest point on the float, it should be fine. Every Rochester 2 barrel in the book has a 1-3/4" float drop.

Thanks all done went with 1-3/4 will try out tomorrow Thanks for the replies boat ran great for 5 yrs. then not so good carb. went south so hope this gets it back on track..:fish2: got fish to catch..... Thanks again....
