speedometer not working

Can anyone tell me exactly where the water enters the mercruiser drive for the speedometer... i checked out the speedometer alone and it works fine

should be right above the "bulletnose" on the front of the drive...very small hole..DON'T break anything off probing it - best to try and clear it with air pressure

I used a twist tie...worked like a charm....it was clogged with weeds and all sorts of nasty stuff, what a stench.
