I have never tried it, but if the diaghram is seized up "MAYBE" pull the speedo and put a few drops of light oil in, swish it around, use a piece of the old tube to add a little air to loosen/test, then empty out the excess.
If it's gone anyways, you are just out some of your time.
(and no I have never seen the inside of one before, I think they might be like the maxi brakes on a big truck kind of. :redface
