Sputtering

I've been searching on here for a while and can't find a answer. While cruising around at wot my motor runs great but while I pull it back to 1/2 throttle it sounds horrible for about a full minute then it mellows out. It sputters and revs. It will keep doing that for 1 minute. I considered changing my spark plugs, but there only 2 years old with less than 50 hours on them. I should do a compression test, I just need to buy a gauge. I don't know what else can be done to fix this problem.

Probably not the plugs.
Sounds like the fuel recirculation system isin't keeping up with the return??
Linkage all adjusted right?Linc and sinc?
And shame on you!!! AS much work as you've done and don't have a comp tester???
