I am looking at replacing my aluminum prop with a stainless prop. I have a 2002 Trophy 1903 Center console driven by a 2002 Merc 150 carb 2 stroke. The prop I currently have is 18 diameter, with a 19 pitch. I currently run wo at 4500rpm at roughly 35-36mph. Any suggestions would be greatly appriciated.

18 diaMeter Sounds huge...maybe. 15x21 would keep those same rpms but give u some more speed? Not a pro but just some help

Re: SS Prop

Are you sure the motor is well tuned, throttle opening all the way?
Bottom clean and smooth? Is there a foil on the motor?
Does the boat respond to trim?
Your rpm and speed seems low; needs to be closer to 5,600 and about 40.
If you feel all else is right a 15" would put you at about 5300.
