Can anyone tell me how a stainless prop produces more bow lift.
Is it simply a more efficient design providing better push or some mysterous physics formula?

Some are bow lifters, some stern lifters and some have overall lift.

It's done several ways. Rake angle, placement of cup, blade design etc.

Yes, prop design is very much a mysterious art.

Gregg, as usual it's hard to understand you. Not being mean but its hard to answer you if we cant understand you.

Adding cup in the right place will produce bow lift.

Setting the carbs so they dont open fully is absurd. Great way to burn a piston. Especially if you're adding bite to the prop.

that the way the dealer did it wouldn't open all the way on carb set I knew that about the piston's thing, when I run it I should set the carb's like they should be I got the prop back monday after adding cup and working on tip's of blades

http://photobucket.com/albums/f325/gatorer/omc-stuff/xp150/?action=view&current=catstuff_0001.jpg
before cup not that good pic
http://photobucket.com/albums/f325/gatorer/omc-stuff/xp150/?action=view&current=DSC00066.jpg
more like first
http://photobucket.com/albums/f325/gatorer/omc-stuff/xp150/?action=view&current=Pict0002.jpg
after worked on
