Hello need a bit of help
I have a 1989 model 4.3 mercruiser it had steel exhaust manifolds with one hose entering the bottom of the manifold and another hose entering the riser/elbow.
I have bought some nice new shiny stainless steel manifolds, but these only have one water inlet at the bottom.
My question is what do I do with the hose that use to enter the elbow on the old manifold. This hose has a ball with a spring on the thermostat housing part.
Do I block it off or connect it to the new manifold at the bottom and block the other one off. Or maybe a loop.
Any help appreciated.
