Starboard bank has no spark ox66 250

can you tell me what might be wrong .I have 1998 ox66 250 Yamaha's everything checks good done the whole o2 spark plug vst etc what sensors knock out starboard side,or could it be stator or pulsar coil? How do I check if these are bad? thanks email me damnboat3@hotmail.com

99% probability that a loss of spark on one bank on a 3.1L engine is a charge coil.
you will need the service manual and an ohm meter to make the final determination.

is the charge coil under the stator assembly?Either way I will investigate more I sure appreciate your reply thanks and am sure it is a quick fix all compression is 115 to 120 and I have 1058 hrs. on the starboard engine am sure glad I have yamahas they are so dependable...and just seem to last forever ...small problems with lift pumps oxygen sensors vst screens spark plugs but nothing major. I think this part is 318.00 dollars not bad for eleven years of use...I think I will rob it off my port engine and make sure that it is the problem ...I have never taken the fly wheel off but I hear it is keyed and pulls fairly easy thanks again

Thanks so much it was the Stator Swapped out with starboard engine stator Engine works fine .new stator on the way .....Suck It Up Corpus Christi Texas if your down this way you have a free fishing trip Wayne Morais
