I hope this doesn't break any rules, but I was wondering whats a rough value of a 18ft Super sport, the floor and the transom board has been removed. boats in average condition otherwise.

Re: Starcraft 18 SS Project ?

and where is it located.

Edit I paid $550 for this 16' gutted.

BUT the seller greased the bearings and made sure the trailer was towable first.

I paid $900 for my 18ss with rotted floor and transom, with a 115 hp evinrude.

Is it sitting on a Yarborough S17 trailer?

W/ or w/out a motor, I/O or OB? It's size?

GA, in the absence of details, I dug around. Figured it was sitting on a Yar S17 modified trailer.

Rocky weekend, so, well, ya know............

I'd go at it for $850-$900 depending on where its at.

OHHH to the things I would do to your boat.

YYYEEEOOUUUCCHHHH that one hurt.

Hey I made it up to her, I got her a new no feedback steering system just think if it weren't for me she'd still be sitting in a field rotting and dieing a slow miserable death.

Anyways the admiral wants an older 18' as she prefers the splashwell design.

I'd probably just clone Ezombees 18' except with better bottom paint.

Re: Starcraft 18 SS Project ?

Yep she wanted me to go buy that one in South Carolina that I posted in the C/l thread. Thats why she wants flipper gone she wants another 18' my hope was that I could pull the splashwell from a different 18' and mount it to mine rather than rebuilding an entirely new keep boat, and with the whole excavator incident a new splashwell on mine wouldn't be a bad thing.

Man a rough crowd here tonight, I should keep away before I get drug into the fray!

Well I would have to say that it all depends on where your at in the country. Here on the left coast that little piece of tin would cost you dearly. With a good trailer and a serviceable motor your looking at 1500 to 1800 as a good deal. I got my rotted out Chief on a corroded through trailer for 600 along with several hundred pounds of worthless rusted out iron for a motor for 600 but it took an extended negotiation over a couple weeks time.

No, you want NO bottom paint. Bare is the ticket methinks.

I paid $1000 for this (but it was a heck of a deal I think)

Good solid trailer (bad tires), untested but complete motor with TnT, good dent free hull not missing any important pieces. I was willing to pay the asking price of $1800 but would have wanted to test the motor at that price.
