25' Chieftain...this boat is for sale. I spoke with the owner and went and took a look at it today. Pretty much covered up with a tarp with only the transom and bow visible. The owner says the boat was used last season and he is selling due to health reasons. The boat is in La Salle Ontario, about 20 minutes accross the border from Detroit. If anyone is interested I can snap a few photo's of boat and trailer. He is asking $2200.00
Ya I know what you mean! I have a 19' Islander in the yard that I have to do a bit of work on b4 putting up for sale, just put a deposit on a 1993 22' Islander that I will be picking up next week, and I still cant resist looking!
Here are a few that the seller sent me. I just need a 2 day window of decent weather to go down and pick it up. The boat only has 235 hrs of fresh water use and was well taken care of. I'm going to pick up trim tabs and a gps/fish finder as well as a swim platform/ladder and that should be about it.
The owner was an older fella that took good care of it, and it does come with a full mooring cover! I plan on heading down to Kentucky on Monday to pick it up....Can't wait!!! Looks like the only things ever mounted on it were the kicker motor bracket and fish finder.
The Boat is primo. love the way the side rails are exact the same height as the top and the markings say Speeeed. Interior spotless.well I better quit lookin before I go unwrap my 22 Holiday for the summer. Had to rebuilt its covered area as the wind did it in last winter. Drive carefull and watch the heads turn as you go by.
