My 1971 Starcraft Starchief restored in Jan./Feb. of '08 In process of replacing the transom wood now. My next project is a 1974 Starcraft Chieftain

That photo of the two beauties sitting next to each other is really cool, gives ya great perspective! Is that Chieftain a 22 or a 25 footer? Super cool

The Chieftain is titled as a 24'. ( sure it is a 25' )
Had three a couple years ago. The two shown and a 22' Islander.
Wish I had gotten a pic of all three togeather. ( Still possible )
My ex-boss ( I'm retired ) has the Islander but I've got the engine and drive to use in the Chieftain.
He converted the Islander to an outboard. ( works very well with an 88 hp Johnson ob )

I've got a 21' Chieftain that I'll start restoring once my health is up to it. (SOON!!!)
I'd also love to see pics of the Islander I/O to OB conversion. That's something that's often mentioned here, but seldom actually done!
