I was just getting on a plane when all of a sudden the alarm went off and power went down. Normally this is for oil and I added oil which happens without a hitch normally. When I tried to restart, the alarm was still on and all I would get is a "click". I checked the starter and it was popping up but it was stopping the flywheel. It is almost as if the starter was locked up or trying to spin the wrong way. If I turn the flywheel as far as I can, then turn the key, it completes one rotation and is stopped by the starter, which again, does pop up but stops the flywheel. Why would this happen when about to plane? Could it be that the oil was so low that it messed up the tranny? Any help is greatly appreciated!!
