I have a 2006 25 hp Mercury four stroke o/b. (Only done 16 hours from new).
Engine was running nicely, but stalled on going from reverse through to fwd.
On attempting to restart numerous times, starter spins motor ok, but no spark.(Fuel pressure confirmed at manifold valve).
Removed plug to check spark, and engine starts on remaining two cylinders.
Engine then starts and runs well on all three cylinders.
Subsequent starts all the same.....no firing, remove plug, engine starts, ..refit plug
engine starts and runs fine.
This sequence confirmed at least next 6 times....has anyone else had similar problem?
any info greatly appreciated..

I’m guessing nobody has any clues on what my problem could be ???

Some will argue.-----I would charge the battery and have your battery load tested even if new.----Likely no money spent for these simple checks.
