Just took my new triumph 190bay out for the first time and had problems!

My yamaha 90hp 2 stroke seems to be struggling for fuel. The engine turns on and idles fine, but when power is applied under load the engine starts to buck and shut off. Also the primer bulb will lose pressure.

However if someone pumps the primer bulb while running the engine will run great. Also If I run the engine in neutral it runs fine, but under load it dies.

I dont see any apparent leaks or kinks.

So what are some areas I should look at?

Thanks.

Not sure from the post if the boat and motor are new or just the boat. It is an obvious fuel restriction. First check the anti siphon valve at the tank.
