As some may know I am working on an old Arrowglass trihull.
Here's where I am at the hull has been painted. Not sure what kind but it looks like cheapie rattle can...
75% of the paint on the hull is gone. peeled off, My question How to remove the rest without flipping it over? and I HATE sanding LOL.
I was thinking the paint is not really on there that great. What about using my steam cleaner? it's not high pressure, (like a pressure washer) it just makes steam. Any idea what the steam will do to the gelcoat/fiberglass? will it delaminate it? make it bubble? or will i be ok?
It's just a thought and I wanted some input before I try it. I mean I don't even know if the steam would remove the paint. but I have used the steam cleaner before on the garage floor to remove paint that was spilled and dries and it worked faily good.
Thanks for the input.
