Steering choice and control help

Hi i have a 21 ft javlin. It was a stripped down boat when I got it. I have purchased a 225 Yamaha 2 stroke, which as it turns out is the same model engine that came off the boat originally. I need to purchase a full steering system. I didn't know it was best to have hydraulic steering for a engine this size before I started this project. Can anyone guide me to the best bang for my buck for a complete steering system? And I also need side mount controls for my engine. Where would I find them? Thanks for the help

You will need to buy side mount controls for Yamaha, as different OEMS have different style controllers. Universal controls (if for Yamaha) are acceptable. They should be available wildly. Try to get the OEM control number from a Yamaha catalog and search the internet on that.
