steering getting worn

I have a 2005 rinker 212 captiva rx1 with a 350mpi and power rack and pinion, it also has tilt wheel. it's starting to have slop in the rack so someone said "just get a new one." which set up(s) do I need to replace the original? I still like the tilt wheel, what are the options and how hard is it to install? any comments would be so helpful.. thanks, jim l.

Look on the cable and see if you can find the serial number and make. Otherwise, you could try emailing Rinker with your model and Hull Identification Number, and they may be able to point you to the correct replacement.
