Steering = Hard to turn right

Hello,
I have a 1977 Viking Deck Boat w/165hp (6cyl) Mercruiser by GM that is hard to turn right
when underway. It has a BRAND NEW Telflex steering cable installed and everything
works fine at slow speed and/or on the trailer. It is only bad at high speed/underway
and is only a problem with turning RIGHT...left is fine but takes two hands to turn
right at speed. I do not have power steering. I've read many posts here and have
lubed the end of the cable & tube where it connects at the back of the boat.
On the trailer I have no friction turning left or right and even no problem at slow
speed in the water...it's ONLY at high speed that its hard to turn right.

Any thoughts on this one?

Thanks,
Travis

Ayuh,... Adjust the angle of the torque tab, mounted just above the prop...

Also try trimming up slightly. Adjusting trim makes a huge difference.
