steering

i have a 15 ft.alum. a1963 scott-mcculloch 45hp. elect. start. it had cable& pully steering.am looking at teleflex morse nfb-rotary package#ss14713 or 14, in iboats marine under mech. steering. at the bottem of the page it shows what appears to be transom mounting, does anyone know if this would work for me or will i have to find some other means of hooking the motor to the steering. thanks for any help.

As long as you have an arm that protrudes from the front of the engine (under), the transom mount will work.
