sticky carb needle mercury sport jet 120 hp

Anyone have any advice why the needle in my top carb sticks and what i can do about it.

You sure the float is set right?Off just a hair and it can stick.
Have you soaked or used any carb cleaners latley.Any dirt in the carb.Install a filter between the carbs and the pump.
Ethanol is messing with the rubber in the Forces and other outboards.
It swells rubber and destroys some plastics.
