This motor has the throttle "cable" and sometimes feels like it binds.
It can be very hard to twist at times then will loosen up. This will happen
repeatedly in the course of an afternoon. I have to work the throttle back and forth and suddenly it will loosen up and work like a charm. Has anyone had this issue with the cable type twist throttle? I don't believe there is an adjustment, reading from other threads. Can this be easily rectified?

Thanks

I've yet to work on one so take my advice accordingly. I would suggest getting out your WD40 or 3and1 oil and going over the throttle and lube every joint that moves. Eventually you'll hit the problem and it should do the trick. Best of luck. Rick.

Check the throttle cam to see if it's binding, or follow the cable from the tiller out to the carb to see if the cable is out of the sheath and chaffing on something
