Still over heating

I noticed oil leaking from that little hole on the bottom starboard side
of the housing.
When I ran it with earmuffs, I noticed water coming out of it.
I know gear oil shouldn't be coming out of it. ( Ididn't run it yet. I noticed the water
before I took it apart)

Ayuh,.... Yer drive has a bad seal, that little hole drains the inside wet area of the housing,...

Water wet, not oil wet,....

The water pump base they sold me was the wrong one. When I pump oil into the gear case the oil came out the bottom of the
water pump base. I just got a new one the right size. Hopefully I will be on the water this afternoon!

Latest... I put the new impeller pump base in and pressure tested it.
(I held my thumb over the hole and pumped a little gear lube in it)
I was having a little trouble with the copper water tube that goes
into the upper gear case housing. I ran into another can of worms...
I ordered part# 42724A3
