I had a 2000 130 looper 125 hrs on it.The engine ran excellent until after winter storage. The problems began with an engine that wouldnt heat up,massive black sludge coming out of exhaust and noticed water {creamy mix} in two cyls. After two mechanics looked at it,and all basics checked and ruled out{head gaskets, comp ext}I was told that the block was porous.I could not believe it but they said they did see it on some 60 degree engines.I ordered a reman power head from a vendor {iboats},installed everything, rebuilt carbs{though they were spotless}She fired up and the same damn thing is happening,Somtimes she heats up,other times she dont{and its not the stats, changed twice},and the best is now I notice water on 3 plugs.Time when she does heat up a little, the plugs are extremely fould. What are the odds of getting another porous block? The vendor tells me he has never seen this on a looper. The only thing that has not been apart is the exhaust adapter plate, could water be sucked back into cyls if somthing is wrong down there.PLEASE anyone help,Im about to sink the whole damn thing.
