Son getting out of Army after 10 years with 2 boys, I am 60 we were going flats fishing.

I hate a thief, no insurance yet havent used it.

Sorry to hear about it. Saw a similar incident on CL in Maryland--soemoen just hooked up the trailer and took off.

That's a little harsh Tommy,

I ran my first boat without insurance, lesson learned the hard way. And when my drunk brother hit a sea wall because he coun't figure out the lights....

Check the homeowners policy and hope they find it intact or else you may be looking for a few more parts, motor, gauges, electronics ..

Check craigslist for postings as well as eBay for parts. I would guess someone stole it for the motor, which means the boat will probably pop up somewhere. And I am sure you already know this, but next time you buy a boat don't even hitch it to your car until you have a policy number from your insurance agent.

Must be someone who lives nearby....how else would they know about it? Check your local listings, not sure if the cops can help. Go to your local airfield and hire a local pilot to overfly the area, you may spot it from the air.

PS. If I ever catch a person steeling a boat, I will tie him/her to the back of the tow vehicle and drive them to the cop station....

go to the local airfield and tell your story.
