Re: Storage bag/duffle for SD365?

I'm from Zanesville,OH. If you guys got any pics of your inflatable trailers you can share I'd like to see them. Right now I haul mine on a jetski trailer I turned into a flat utility trailer, so after I'm in the water I use the hand pump to inflate the keel. I'd like to just have two bunks but don't know how that would support the boat with an air floor.

I will post some when I have time....but I took a harbor freight trailer and made it into a boat trailer..kinda. Anyway, I make sure the tubes and transom are supported by bunks. The keel stays pumped all the time. Hopefully tonight I can post something for you.

Thanks, I'd appreciate it. I had that set up you use originally with the two bunks I just didn't have anything under the transom but I also didn't tow with the motor on. I'm thinking of going back to it and just adding a bracket under the transom to support the motor. I'll try and add some pictures of my trailer tomorrow.

Most of us got inflatables so we didnt have to get a trailor.
We had no place to store it.
Unless you have a garage , owning a trailor can get very costly.
Besides. Its much more fun to pull your boat out of your car or truck. Inflate it with your electric air pump and be in the water while the trailored boats are still jockeying for position to get in the water.

btw
You can also go more places when you dont have a trailor and you learn how to maximize the space on your boat.
You are also more likely to use the boat as it fits in your vehicle . Some people actually leave there boat in there suv or small wagon all boating season (usually the hard core fishermen.)

Also if your boat has a wooden transom you can get a set of launch wheels.
Much cheaper than a trailor and very easy to use.

I agree with Ronald 99.9% the .1 i do not agree is i think for me it would be more fun to keep my boat inflated and just dump it off the ramp. Looked so much easier then putting in the floor, inflating, attaching wheels, attaching outboard then adding all your addons and dragging to the ramp by hand lol. The worst part is when you spent your day on the water and your tired you have to dismantle your boat. BOTTOM LINE: no space for trailer = assembly required. ( if it wasn't for my sib i would not be so excited for spring and fishing season)
