hi everyone just about ready to put the big cover on the boat for the winter . just curious , do you leave the cabin doors open for the winter or close them up ? our boat sits in the driveway all winter , i leave the tonneau cover on and then i tie the big cover down over top of it , i also put moth balls down in the cabin .. thanks ..

I leave my cabin door open. Closed = musty. Musty = mildew.

I think you should take the tonneau cover off. The whole thing needs to breath. You want to keep water, debris and sun out, but have the biggest pocket of air (and some airflow) as possible.

Cabin door closed, portholes open, and this year with shrinkwrap I may leave the hatches open also. Just my 4 portholes keep the boat from getting musty or moldy.
