I have just finished stripping off all the shinny accesories and just got a few screws holding the rub rail from falling to the ground before the serious stuff happens.
The rub rail is in not bad condition considering it's 54 years old but I will admit it is a bit hard.
Is there something that I can swirk/splash/spray on/rub-on rub-off conditioner that will help to soften it as I would like to reinstall on the boat once the boat resto is completed.
