Here is my front yard about half way through the storm yesterday. Where I live, we got about 20".. I had just snowblowed the driveway about an hour before.

The little fence is no longer visible and the snow is flush with the bottom of the mailbox.

My backdoor, which is three steps up from the patio had about of foot of drift blocking the door. Pretty crazy storom, but now it is freaking cold. Going to be -14 tonight.

How's your roof?;)
If it were 5 degrees cooler, I'd be in the same boat. We had 3" of icy cold rain today.

Oh let it snow let it snow:D

That's one of the reasons I moved to the coast. The only thing I miss about it was going out the back door and getting on the snow machines.

Hope it lets up as snow removal will be a bear.

I was in a tennis tournament. It was actually way to hot today. Wish it was cooler.

Its all fine now, the roads are cleaned up its just danged cold. Winter doesn't technically start for like 10 days.. The berms at the end of the driveway are chest high which hasn't happened in a while.

It past patterns hold true, we should have a mild Feb and March.

Looks like Northern Michigan. The news just said 190+ schools closed. It's 4 dg here right now with the wc at -41 winds are 30 MPH. I'm just 65 miles south of the Mighty MAC. We are snowed in.

Never fails, someone makes a topic called "Storm Photos" or "It's COld" or "Snow" and some always feel the need to say how warm it is where they are?
Whoopty doo, get off the computer and go boating or something then, we don't care.

Hey, it's Minnesota, it's winter, that means snow and cold. Get used to it or move South with the rest of the trash.

The wimps in the cities are calling it a snownami.

Actually, this was pretty normal weather during the "mini ice age" of the 70s. Hang around another 30 years and it'll be wimpy warm again.

At least 3" fell on Signal Mountain where we are in Chattanooga... drifts above 8". All schools closed today and probablyl tomorrow; Tuesday morning temps said to be around 8?F with windchills below goose egg.

This town is just not set up for snow. Within a few days, it'll be gone. :p

What I would give to take a stroll thru town on a snowy winter day.

Anyone want to trade homes after the hollidays? My home on an island with a boat.....for yours at the edge of town with a snowmobile.
