Strange sound from my motor..Detonation?

Just completed freshening up my 1996 200 Looper. Broke it in and everything seems good. When it planes out I sometimes hear this strange noise coming from the engine. It sounds like someone put an obnoxious buzzer back there.
I can make go way by throttling down or messing with trim.

I'm wondering if this is detontation I'm hearing. I'm used to the sound a car makes when it detonates, is it the same?

I did check the timing and it 6 ATDC at idle and 18 BTDC up high.

I had a similar problem. I checked the magnets under my flywheel first. But it turned out to be a bushing off the top of my starter gear. It had come loose somehow and was rattling around in there.

I looked around the starter gear and it seems to be pretty tight in there.
Anyone have any other ideas?
