Are you sure that's a pothole? It looks suspiciously like one of our New Mexico lakes (Caballo or Elephant Butte?) after all these many years of drought.

Several years ago I hooked an aluminum canoe with my anchor. We bailed it out and tied it off to the back of the boat. Dunno how long it had been at the bottom of the lake. I still have it!
