I am looking to replace the floors in my Larson all american. Does anyone know the dimensions of the stringers. I want to have everything ready to go before cutting into it. Thanks in advance.

It would have been soooo nice if I could have known what I would find when the floor came up. Great idea, to be pre-armed with pre-cut material. Not gonna happen though. You won't know till you get it opened up. Might be standard 1X4, might be a custom height, you may decide to raise or lower your finished deck height. Too many variables. Good luck. KR

Re: Stringer size in an all american?

I have a Larson All American and did some stringer work this last winter. Mine is a '93 and I can tell you that the stringers do not run the full length; they are in multiple pieces. They are about 68" high at the tallest point and about 5' long at the longest point. Mine only had two stringers that went from the engine area up to the front. These two stringers encased the gas tank and made up the ski locker. There was a bulk head if you will at the front and back of the gas tank, one of which served as the back of the ski locker as well. Other than that, there were some 1x4 that went across the stringers (stringers were notched to accept these); one was right over and across the gas tank and the other was at the back of the ski locker area. These were stapled to the stringers and then the foam poured because they just rested on the foam. Send me your email address and I'll send you the couple pictures that I have (although not great pictures).

That's the tall deck model, rare for sure!:p

Seriously, Chinewalker will hopefully chime in here, he's done a 15 and an 15.
