I have a 1994 15hp Suzuki serial #01502-461003. I replaced the impellar and when I put the motor to use, all I had was forward gear. I brought it home and adjusted the shift rod and took it back to the water to find that all I had this time was reverse. I removed the lower housing and played around with the lower portion of the shift rod in the lower unit and attempted to make a connection. I turned the prop and alas, I had reverse, neutral, and forward until I placed it all back together. When I had the lower unit off I could feel that I was hitting something with the end of the shift rod as I pulled it up and down. Is something broken?
