Stupid Lights

Ok, I'm probably the dummy here, :facepalm: but for the life of me, I can't seem to get the cover off my dome lights. I have twisted, pulled, pried and smacked them with no luck. All I want to do is replace the existing bulbs with LED's. Would anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong

There are very likely three tabs on the lens that fit into slots in the rim around it. You need to insert something like a wood ice cream bar stick into the gap and spread that open a bit to see where the tabs are. Then release one tab at a time.
