Hi all, new here.

I have a 2007 or so 25HP 4 stroke pull start Yamaha outboard.

Bilge froze during a storm. Boat took on some ice and waves from the wind and flipped. Motor was down 1-3 days depending on when it happened.

I righted the boat and took off the motor. Drained the oil, removed the spark plugs and got the sea water out (brackish). Fogged the hell out of the cylinders, put in new plugs, new oil, new filter. Drained the carb and fuel lines a few times (in the motor and the ones in the boat) and replaced the water separating fuel filter in the boat as well.

Sprayed the wiring down with electrical contact cleaner. Wouldn't start. Let it sit 2 days and it now starts right up first pull. It idles fine. I've removed each spark plug wire one at a time and verified both cylinders are firing.

When you give it gas, it tries hard to build revs but sputters. Guessing something is up with the carb.

Any ideas on next steps?
