what about taking the boat over, let them look at it, take the tower off, and part of the project, and then submit ideas. the one with the best or approved idea gets a $50.00 dollar bill. this gets the whole class into the project, and their creativity. run it by the Prof.

That's a pretty good idea. I may even offer $100 if they can "build" me a table for the cockpit area. It was a $600 option from Four Winns but I opted out due to the cost...

I would think that there are only 4 bolt holes per attachment point with no center hole. Why not simply remove it and replace the bolts with a little 4200? I would think that it would look "cleaner" than 4 plates. BTW, cheap stainless will rust as does aluminum (oxidation). Nice boat!
