Re: suggestions?

Don't feel bad Ken, I am trying to collect my manual from ebay, this was two weeks ago. I will keep these people under my hat. Paid buy thru Pay Pal, 32.50. They keep saying it was sent that was two weeks ago. I am still waiting. My wife works for an attorneys office, It is hard to collect back on any type of money order. Just pray that this person will come forward with either your money, or the control. Keep Smileing.

Re: suggestions?

It looks like this "gee gee" is from Phily and fishes out of a place called Cape May (wherever that is). He's got a 1979 Robalo CC with twin 1985 175 hp Mercs. He apparently just installed new teleflex or floscan gauges. He must do business with "Trixies" in Bayville N.J. and e-bay, because he mentioned them both.<br /><br />Got this info out of his posts. Who knows, someone might run into the boat or something. Some of his posts seem half sincere. Maybe it's just a mistake?<br /><br />Oddly in one of his posts he says, "but ill do anything to save a couple bucks."<br /><br />Ouch. :(

Kend20gw, Know some guys who boat out of Cape May.I will run that 1979 Robalo CC with 175 Merc's by them. Think they have 44oz bats for practice.

Re: suggestions?

Doh!, wife bought a Christmas present off Ebay. The seller had a great rating. Paid by paypal. The guy just keeps answering that it's sent. Asked for a tracking number and get nothing. Asked for a date it was sent, get nothing. Two weeks and counting.

Re: suggestions?

Kend20gw... I have shipped various items and encountered delays within the mailing system from time to time. I know that that makes the buyer somewhat nervous due to the various scams that exist, but I do keep tabs with the post office and also keep up correspondence with the buyer. One item being shipped to Texas (about 1100 miles distant) took about three weeks (made me nervous too). Perhaps I overlooked the mailing date; when did you mail that money order?

Re: suggestions?

Joe, the money order was mailed on Dec.9th. I don't believe that's the issue. On the 11th he emailed saying it wasn't there yet. That's understandable, I wouldn't have expected it to be there that quickly.Problem is he closed his aol account. On the afternoon of the 9th he asked to change last name on the m/o from bill y to bill x.It was already sent -no change took place. If he didn't receive it then I guess I would hear from him, he doesn't seem like a patient kind of guy if he was expecting and complaining it wasn't there on the 2nd or 3 rd day. The day it was supposed to arrive is the day he disappeared. :(

Re: suggestions?

Kend......Go to this site.. www.ussearch.com and run the crook's names, using the first name of William. Use an age of 40 years old. It will give you names and cities of similar names. If you find one or more that might fit the "perp". Then use the online white pages to locate a home address and phone number. Good luck...Bob in Calif...

Re: suggestions?

Thanks,Bob. I've tried something similar @ aol., got nothing promising..I just went there but it costs me another 39.95 for his (probably) unlisted phone number.Too bad I had to find the worm in that place.I hope this piece of fish poop OD's on some dope. Most of all I wish I owe someone an apology so I could get excited again about my boat and leave my anger at the dock. :(

Re: suggestions?

Bob 47 possible listings for a william x in PA @ 9.95 for address. 3 possible listings for william y in philly PA @ 39.95 for tel. That's If it's listed and ASSuming he'll talk and not deny knowing anything about it. I think I have enough for the authorities to make a quick collar.IF it rates important enough.I have a feeling they have more important things to do.Maybe a reason there's SO much crime.

Re: suggestions?

kend20gw every crime committed is a crime. I really hope you stay on task and pursue this Geek Geek person. I am retired from the Army 22.5 yrs active duty and in my new life I'm the director of a 204 bed correctional facility. I believe, when they have it coming, they have it coming! It is no different than when you sent your money. You really thought you had it coming. Don't let Geek Geek off the hook. Keep your rod tip up and play the sucker out. You'll eventually reel him in. You can't gut, filet or steak him out, but you can mount him-- in a jail cell once you catch him. good luck. :(

Re: suggestions?

Okay I tried the site. I found nothing on Leopard street.I found only one match of a William ******x.philly.PA. I have a phone number. Now , I ask all of you, before I call I want to know what I should ask, bearing in mind if it is the guy he'll deny it.If it isn't, how will I know? I don't want to call from my home phone since he may have caller id and recognize my area code.He may not even answer.I'm thinking whether it is him or not he'll respond with "you got the wrong number" or "I don't know what your talking about". I need some suggestions.. He might even be reading this!

maybe do a sting on him..like congratulations..your name was entered by Trixie's of bayshore..Mr. x your the proud new owner of a NEW 26' SEARAY! You'll have to have a notarized form indicating you ,nor any family member is currently or in tha past working for searay.Simply come to (blank) to sign ownership papers..then when he gets there i'll gaff him in the a**, club 'em in the head..Whadya think?
