Hello!

I have a problem with my '89 Suzuki DT75. The problem is I can't get it to work at max revs. Even out of water, with full throttle it only comes to 4600-4700 rpm. Meaning that on a rib boat (4,9 meters) and a 75 bhp engine I can only get 23 knots out of it. I was told that these engines should go up to 5800-6000 rpms. I had all 3 sensors and compression checked and all seems to be in order. Checked the cabling, also no problems. You guys have any idea what could be wrong with it?

Best regards

Tomo

Damn that is slow, with a 15p you should run full revs on that motor ..... how is your motor setup on the transom, can you post a pic?
