Suzuki DF6 drives me crazy

I have a 2 year old 4stroke Suzuki. It usually works fine but it is very unreliable more recently, It starts roughly and sometimes it turns the rpm down suddently in full throttle as if I truned the gas down, and stops. Then the carburetor starts leaking fuel. I can't start the engine again unless I turn the fuel off (the engine is running out of the built in fuel tank), and clearing the carburetor from the overflow fuel. As soon as I turn the gas valve back on the engine stops and the carburetor sprinkles gas and caughs. In the same time the powerhead is very hot, I almost can't touch it with my fingers. (Is that normal?) I took it to a dealer I payed a lot of money for cleaning the carb, and the cooling system (this later told me that the engine was shut down by the electrical system due to overheat) however the cooling water has been always at normal temperature.
Please help me if you have any idea what this could be. :':)'(

My DF 6 suffers from a sticking float. No biggie but in both of your cases I would say that is the problem. Secondly, with over heating, the fact that you have a telltale does not mean that the motor is being correctly cooled by the water system. Sounds like the thermostat is not opening or is blocked by Debris. If you have had an impeller break up then chances are that pieces are blocking the waterways. Incidentally please use Stabil or something similar in your fuel. This will help prevent float and other carb related problems.
