I have just gotten a Suzuki DT25C oil injection(rope start only?) engine that looks almost new. I know it is not but I would like to know its' age and what I should do before I try to start it? The number on the side of the transom mounting bracket is 02507 901411. It is a steel grey color with a black band on the cover with the 25 in the black band. I don't have a boat to put this on so I'm thinking of checking it out(on a stand) and trying to sell it. Any thoughts on its value/and or how to find a buyer would also be appreciated.
