suzuki dt4 stumbling

I have a 1988 dt4 that I dissassembled because I was told it may have bad reed valves. All looked great and I reversed the valves just in case. I cleaned the carb and it will run great until placed under load. It stumbles and will not run smoothly with throttle. Could the CDI be the issue? Is there a test for the CDI. Any suggestions what else it might be?

Re: suzuki dt4 stumbling

Thanks for the quick reply! Now considering checking the compression pressure and replacing the reed valves anyway. What is considered a good range for compression pressure?
