Suzuki outboar year?

I just bought a 9.9 hp oil injection Two stroke suzuki outboard.

I'm trying to figure out what year it is the serial number is 00994-801209.

Anyway thanks for your help.

I have all the numbers on file, but yes the browns point is the best suzuki marine site in the USA
