I have an evinrude starflight 125 (1973). I just purchased a prop from ebay that was misslisted as an evinrude, when it was actually a v1900 suzuki prop. It fits on the hub, but I want to make sure it doesnt mess things up. It is a 13 x 19 just like the one on my evinrude. Any help would be appreciated.

I would be concerned that the hub is some metric size that almost fits perfectly. But there is the possibility that it has been re-hubbed with a OMC hub.

I know that the suzuki 4 stroke and 4 stroke evinrude/johnson props are the same but I think the listing for aftermarket props like michigan show different numbers for the evinrude/johnson 2 stroke vs Suzuki's. Maybe someone in the industry knows different. It would be nice to know if I could pick up a used OMC prop as a spare for my 70hp 4stroke Suzuki since there are alot of them on Ebay compared to suzuki props.

can't tell you for sure but merc props seems to fit my zuki v6's fine EXCEPT I'm using a thicker thrust washer and a lock washer and nut from a merc prop on an OMC application.<br />I am talking large hub here so the small hub maybe different but the issue is probably finding a washer that doesn't let hub rub the case and the right lock nut. Also make sure you got enough spline area engaged: 1" or better should work fine.

The prop will work but you need a different thrust washer. The hub of the OMC props are pushed in from the front (large dia. thrust spacer) whereas the Suzuki hub is installed from the back which means it has a small hole in front (small dia. thrust spacer) The splines should be the same.
