Good Morning

I just purchased a 2000 Logic CC with a 70 HP Suzuki four Stroke and I have a few very basic questions. Although I've owned a smaller runabout in the past with a 30 HP Johnson I'm not familiar with prop removal and replacement.

I need to replace the propeller on the Suzuki 4 stroke 70 hp. I removed the old propeller and I have a cotter pin and nut, a thin flat washer, a (brass?) metal flange which engages the flutes or the grooves on the prop shaft, and then on the inside there was another (brass?) metal flange which butts up to where the shaft leaves the lower end. Can anyone reccomend a diagram which will show me how these go back together when i get my new prop?

Also everything is greasy. Should I clean this all off (if so with what) and then does it need to be lubricated when I re-install, and if so with what.

Last but not least, should I trash the old prop or can they be reconditioned?

thanks you in advance for your expert advice, I really appreciate it

rob
