Swap '85 Evinrude '90HP with '88 Mercury 115HP?

I would like to swap motors from one boat to another. 1. 1985 Evinrude 90 HP VRO with key in dash with 2. 1988 Mercury 115 with the key in the control. Is there any chance the mounting holes for the motors will line up? Is it going to be a huge job wiring the switch? Are there any major things I should watch for? How much should I expect to pay if I have someone else do it? Thanks in advance.

If the 115 merc is 1984 or newer it will have the same bolt pattern as Johnrude. As for the switch, don't bother trying to rewire it. You have to change control boxes and wire harnesses anyway.

How can I connect a chain to the engines to lift them? I think bolting a bracket to the flywheel is the usual way. Can these brackets be rented? Is there another way?
