Swapping 2006 mercruiser 4.3 for a 95 mercruiser 4.3

I have a 95 glasstron with the mercruiser 4.3 that need replacing. I purchased an insurance claim 2006 bayliner with the 4.3 to do a motor swap. Is there anything that needs to be modified or are all the wire harnesses and motor mounts the same. If any one has any tips please let me know before I get started. thanks

The rear motor mounts will be different for the 95, however, if you use the 95 flywheel cover, and it still has the old style motor mounts, you will need 2 double wound washers to put under the mount.

Here is how you identify the new mounts for sure.
