Swapping control boxes & power trim units

Just need a question answered, Have a 1975 Johnson 115 HP V-4 with power trim/tilt.
Just acquired a blown 1989 Evinrude 110 HP with power trim and the control box.
Can I put the power trim unit on my 1975 115 HP and use the control box from the 1989 110 HP to power and start my
1975 115 HP
It seems like an easy swap but want to make sure before I start

Sorry but no as the midsection and clamp brackets are different.........

In case you were wondering-you also can't swap powerheads, either.
