Swapping MC 120 with OMC 120

Thay're both chevy based 4 cylinder motors from the mid 70's era. Will it work? Mercruiser 120 is locked up on the boat i just bought but the outdrive seems ok. Have no idea what the OMC was hooked too before, only that it runs..Any experts out there? Thnx in advance from this "newest" member.....Terry

Hi Terry...<br />And Welcome to iboats forums.........<br /><br />Yes...<br />It Should be a Basic Long Block Swap..........<br /><br />You'll want to strip the OMC down to it's Chevy Basics......<br />Then, Install the Merc Stuff.......
