LOL Probably more likely the case - more so when I get the center section closed up :lol:

^^^ Got it put back on last night. I'll get some pictures of the finished project up in the next day or so. You can tell that this deck was "re-purposed" for this boat. But it works.

So ... Haven't really had to work with marine sealer around things like the brackets. I pretty much looked like a Harvey Korman / Tim Conway sketch. Will probably have to clean that up again later (looks like the abominable snowman sneezed on my transom), but it'll do for the moment.

Here's everything put back together:

Looks great! I like how the center section ties everything together.

5200-4200 is some snotty/sticky/tenacious stuff!

Go back and clean off the excess as the stuff you can see isn't doing much good, they stuff you can't see is what counts. I take paper towels, cut then into 2x2 or 3x3 squares, put them into a little can with some paint thinner and go to town cleaning off the goop.
