How would one go about switching the same 12v appliance (in this case a number of LEDs wired in series) from two locations?

Thanks,
Brad

use 2 3-way switches connect common on 1 end to 12 vt source common on other end to lights run 2 travelers and ground between switches. home depot, lowes any home store to purchase pay close attention to current draw on switchs and don't overload them

Yes it is! Thanks a ton. Let me clarify, is this using 120v household 3 way switches? If so that will work great since I can house them in weather resistant boxes.

Thanks again,
Brad

as long as you dont exceed the amperage of the switchs it should be just fine

You can use house hold 3 way switches or SPDT toggle switches.
Your LEDs won't come anywhere near drawing too much current unless you are installing 10,000 of them!! :D

Thats kind of what I figured since each only draws in the milliamps.

Thanks again for everyone's input.
